Bradley Jardis to Represent Talley.TV vs. State

I’m pleased to announce that Bradly Jardis, an 11 year law enforcement veteran, will be informing the Cheshire County Superior Court that he will be representing me during the upcoming trial for “Contempt of Court, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest or Detention.”

During his career as a law enforcer, Brad learned a great deal about the law. Since resigning as an agent of the State he has dedicated himself to advancing the cause of peace, liberty and justice – principles most modern day law enforcers violate as a matter of business.

Like myself, Brad is a blogger at Free Keene where the following bio appears:

Brad Jardis is a New Hampshire native and is well known for being one of the very first active rank-and-file law enforcement officers to join Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) and come out publicly against the insane war on drugs. His work in LEAP resulted in him forming alliances and friendships with many people participating in the liberty movement. Brad admits that many things he did as a police officer he regrets. He hopes that by speaking out on liberty-related issues other law enforcement officers can understand that a society need not target peaceful people for prosecution who break victimless laws and that individual police officials should follow their conscience before blindly following orders handed down by politicians.

The final pretrial hearing is scheduled for January 31st and the trial can take place after jury selection, which takes place on February 13th at 9AM, until the 21st. Since Brad will need time to prepare for the case we will likely be asking for a month continuance which would possibly place the trial in March.

It’s my belief that I will be going to a cage, possibly for 6 months, with or with out the representation of Brad. I am fortunate that he is making my cause – to bring additional transparency to local courthouses – his own. Thank you, Brad for assisting me during these trials and tribulations.

I will not be paying Brad but I have set up a legal defense fund here to cover our expenses. Please donate if you can so that we can mount the best -defense- offense possible.
